It would seem that 'waste not, want not' is a phrase model Heidi Klum is familiar with.
The "Project Runway" host finally brought out her Cleopatra-inspired Halloween costume a month after her 13th annual Halloween party was postponed. Ever the good Samaritan, Heidi combined her love of dress-ups and partying with raising funds for The American Red Cross's Hurricane Sandy appeal, the very thing that postponed her event in the first place.Never one to shy away from a bold and revealing costume (Heidi's previous costumes include appearing as a skinless woman and also an ape), the star stunned party-goers with her over-the-top custom-made Cleopatra costume.
The floor-length, gold-sequinned gown gave fans an eyeful of Heidi's -- ahem -- best assets, showing off an abundance of shimmering cleavage. Hundreds of crystals adorned Heidi's face, giving the impression of a jewelled mask, while she showed off a black curled and dread-locked wig beneath a heaving headdress. A giant detachable gold winged cape finished off the look.Heidi, 39, mixed her Halloween haunting with Christmas cheer, puckering up to Santa on the red carpet as well as taking the time to indulge in a Holiday favourite and sitting on his knee (although we're not quite sure what she would have asked him for). Other guests at the party included Salt-n-Pepa Sandra 'Pepa' Denton (who wore a leopard-print catsuit) and Knicks star Amar'e Stoudemire with fiancée Alexis Welch.
Heidi hosted the party solo since splitting with husband Seal, back in April this year.
The former Victoria's Secret model originally gave fans a sneak peak of her Halloween costume via Twitter in September, when she shared a photo of her with designer Martin Izquierdo during a fitting.Heidi also shared a photo of herself getting ready for her party, showing make-up artist Bill Corso applying all the jewels to her face.
