WATCH: Do you think the jingle is a rip-off?
The parties involved are Aussie band John Butler Trio, and Oikos Yoghurt, a company that yesterday released a Super Bowl Ad for Oikos Greek yoghurt.
The Oikos Yoghurt ad aired to an audience of millions, with a jingle bearing more than an uncanny resemblance to the JBT song, 'Zebra,' which was released in 2003.
Management for JBT released a statement via Twitter and Facebook following the ad, saying: "Thank you everyone for making us aware of the Oikos Greek yoghurt TV ad that aired during the Super Bowl (today) featuring a song that sounds extremely similar to Zebra. John Butler and his management were not aware of this usage until yesterday, and we will be seeking advice as how to address the issue."

Oikos Yoghurt also released a statement just before 12pm today (AEST) via their Youtube page, in response to the unfolding drama.
"A question about the music in our Super Bowl commercial has been brought to our attention," the Yoghurt company said.
"We are working to fully understand and address the situation. We apologise for any concerns this has caused John Butler Trio's band members and fans."
An ad spot during Super Bowl Sunday in the US is rumoured to cost $3.5 million.
