Video: Lady Gaga's bodyguard slams fan
The 'Born This Way' singer, who is currently undertaking the European leg of her Born This Way Ball tour, posted the photo showing her new anchor inking on her ribs, along with the caption "New Tat. Stamp of His Mermaid".Gaga, 26, also remembered her manners, taking to Twitter to thank both the artist and parlour in Amsterdam where she received the tattoo. She tweeted: "Thanks Hank and @amstattoomuseum for my New Ink!! we miss you already, see you at the ball!"
In early August, Gaga -- also known as Mother Monster to fans -- tweeted a photo of her 10th tattoo, the title of her forthcoming album, ARTPOP.
Other tattoos for the singer include a unicorn on her left thigh for her 'Born This Way' album, a rose along the left side of her stomach (which was converted from a treble clef by celebrity tattoo artist Kat Von D), and the word 'dad' in heart, after her father had emergency heart surgery in 2009.
All of Gaga's artworks adorn the left side of her body, a fact she revealed as a request from her father to keep one side of her body 'normal'. She said: "All of my tattoos are on one side, per my father's request. He asked that I remain, on one side, slightly normal, so I only have my tattoos on my left side. I think he sees the right as like my Marilyn Monroe side and the left as my Iggy Pop side."
